how much dirty is Greece, I know perhaps better, however it is unfair that you condemn so much easily, even photographic, you did not search well? neither asked? neither you searched it? you did not see what it should you see,you see as tourist only busy sights,sure full waste,I photograph Greece 25 years without I process in photoshop her waste, I could fill album with that, as I have filled with her incomparable beauties.It would be pleasant we see your good impressions from Greece,
except and if you only photographed boxes coca cola.

Hello Markus,

I can say I did not know that Greece had the problem of getting waste to throw here and there. However, here in Venezuela many people seem to have this bad habit, and the authorities do little to correct it. A pity, because here we also have beautiful landscapes that are affected by such practices.

But, leaving that to one side!

This photo impressed me at first sight when I opened the gallery today in TN!. Very successful, excellent contrast, superb detail, together with an excellent approach. A natural art, well composed and with excellent framing.

I was watching the rest of their photos, and really fascinating.

Great job, very technical and quite taken with "passion".

Uplifting...or outcropping...RAW indeed, both in image and in geology...these are the parts of geology which make history...as in hundreds of thousands of years. Then you take them and compose them as you wish to make geology an art form! BTW You would love the Channeled Scablands. my guess is we could let you loose in there for a month and you would never want to leave.....

there's too much new money around, people can travel cheap or for free, and most simply do not see the reason behind keeping their filth to themselves!

I missed your special shots on TN. Now I know why you were absent. Why is it that countries that specialise in tourism don't bother to deal with the waste. I have also seen this problem all too often!
A wonderful capture of a flysch face showing a beautiful pattern of cracks and gentle colours.

bentornato dalle tue vacanze con questa fantastica immagine in cui cerchi l'essenza della bellezza, come una sorta di esorcismo delle storture e brutture che la miope e utilitaristica visione, che gli uomini hanno della Natura, ci impone. E' una battaglia difficile, se non impossibile, ma in ogni caso quello che l'uomo spesso trascura di sapere è che comunque la Natura prevarrà.

Lieber Markus es ist sehr gut und schön, dass du wieder da bist.
Manschmall ist es so: man weist nicht wie andere leben bis in dem Moment wenn du da bist.
Leider, aber die Realität ist so.
Wir sind erzogen hier in Westen mit anderer Mentalität, mit andere Lebenswerte.
Das war für dich eine Erfahrung die man einmal in seine Leben machen soll.

Allo Markus, je pensais à toi et me demandais ce qui se passait... j'avais oublié pour les vacances. Lorsque nous vivons dans un paradis un peu perdu où la nature n'est pas trop endommagée, nous devenons difficiles et faciles à heurter ;-) par la civilisation et ses effets sur Mère Nature! Heureuse d'apprendre que les vacances furent tout de même reposant et que le paysage est tout de même très beau. L'abstraction de cette photo est fantastique! Quelle belle courbe qui traverse en diagonale, tout s'emboite parfaitement mais parfois diffère. On se demande si le haut, à droite, il s'agit de lumière jouant sur la pierre ou de la pierre qui est blanche. Nous sommes tous uniques et ton oeil l'est certainement! Tu nous a manqué! Merci,

Hola Markus,
muchos dias ya sin visitar tu galería y es que publicas muy poco. Como siempre sacando mucho partido a esas formas y texturas. La verdad es que uno deja correr la vista por el conjunto y encuentra todo lo que a la imaginación se le ocurre.
