Hello Nikos,
Interesting composition with part light and dark green. Bug is very sharp and nicely showed.

Hello Nikos
great macro with wonderful details, fine colors and splendid sharpness. Focusing is perfect.

Geia sou Niko,
Amazing photo, with a very beautiful graphic effect created by the contrast of colours and structures. The sharpness is perfect. A top class shot! Congratulations,

Some info about the species:
According to GüNTHER (1975), the Spilostethus [= Lygaeus] equestris L. is indigenous from southern England to Siberia, and from central Sweden to the Mediterranean areas. It is less common north of Central Europe; it prefers areas with warmer climate. It likes staying both on the ground or in the flowers of various plants. It especially likes the tame poison or swallowwort (Vincetoxicum officinale MNCH., syn. Cynanchum vincetoxicum (L.) PERS.). (Source)

Hi Nikos,

The background is perfect, the balance between the background and the green leaf is perfect. The starting point is the location of the insect fair for the composition. The structure of the picture is perfect and very impressible, insect displays good color and details.

It is a photo taken with an excellent eye!

Greetings & TFS!

Hello Nikos.

Very nice photography of the Lygaeus equestris.

Very good point of view and composition of the picture. Great colors and very fine sharpness. I particularly appreciate the contrast between the leaf on which the insect is positioned and the background. Very good colors for the insect and many details. The photography is very luminescent and brilliant.

Thank you for the sharing.

See you soon on treknature for other pictures.

All the best.
