Daisy's grow all over the world in temperate climates...not in Antarctica I reckon...but here as seen after the rain cell had passed over and sun broke through. I managed to pull the car over..as I was seeing also a rodent of some sort...but found these instead...nice..

The Daisy derived it's English name from the Anglo-Saxon term daes eage or Day's Eye referring to the way the flower opens and closes with the sun.

As my access to the internet is limited by a visit to my son and my two small granddaughters my critiques are rather delayed but now i have come to this wonderful study of light and shade in the fine daisy flower capture. I looks like either the early morning or evening but the raindrops are a nice addition. Was this really taken in January? Surely not with the grassy BG, unless it was a large greenhouse.
A nice shot Bob, but one that has a mystery attached to it.
Thanks,
Ivan

I am stunned, Bob!
This is magic!God created such beauty!
Very well captured and presented, Bob!
Your magic keeps workin', and I hope it works for a long, long time!

Hi Bob,

I've never seen a daisy in Tucson! If they did grow here the expression "fresh as a daisy" would be no more. They would be wilted from the outrageous heat and lack of rain. We've been having "dry" thunderstorms every day with lots and lots of lightening and no rain. So, to me, these flowers with the wonderful water droplets are a feast for the eyes. Everything about this picture is beautiful.

Jane

Hi Bob,

The subject is well framed. The close-up view is showing the details and colors of the daisy. It is clear and precise. The reflection nof the light on the droplets of water is enhancing the colors. Have a nice day.

Hello Bob,
No summer without Daisies - I love them, and this is a beautiful capture taken after the rain. A very fine composition too and I like the colours and the shadows.
TFS and best wishes, Ulla

Bonjour Bob,
