Tiger cubs in a playful mood. These cubs were spotted alone by villagers. It is suspected that their mother was killed by the poachers,so they were brought at a local Zoo by forest officials.
Now they are cute and charming but when they grow up, there shoulder height may reach 90cm-1m.weight upto220kg and they may live up to 26 years.
picture has been cropped for better composition.

Hi Nazi. Its a shame about the mother so the tigers could not have stayed in the wild. But at least they will live safely for now. You have taken a fine close up of the playful pair. Good detail and such natural colours. well done TFs.

Hi Nazir,
lovely shot of these two playing, although the story saddens me greatly. Nice details and interesting pose on the cub on the left.

What an awesome shot, Nazir!
Shame about the tigress, though!
And this poaching thing make bow my head in shame, as an Indian!
This shot is very well timed and very sharp!

Hi Nazir,

It is so sad that these two beautiful, playful cubs lost their mother. A pity they cannot grow up in the wild but at least they will be safe. A wonderful shot with good colors and nice details. The face and coats are beautiful. I can't believe the size of their paws!!!!

Jane

Grt frame nazir,
well composed and sharp . u have well captured the playing mood of ur subject. The light the shadow i mean the whole frame is awsome.

Wow Nazir. Amazing shot. just see the expression on her face! I haven't seen such a great and different tiger photo in quite some time. very bright and colorful.

Hello Nazir,
It is really very disturbing to read such poaching episodes that too so frequent. With this rate very soon they will be seen in local museums as stuffed animals. What a shame on us (Indians)! What is the remedy to sort out this ongoing menace to such rare & beautiful animals. When would this stop? Government has to be very very very strict on this issue…………………… I am sad once again on this topic.
Best wishes-Subhash

Hi Nazir,
Poaching is a major problem here in South Africa, actually world wide, destructive bunch.Lovely photo of these tiger cubs. Interesting patterns and colours and nicely captured.
