Spotted Fawn
 |
|
[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This is the first spotted fawn I've managed to capture since I started photography. This particular youngster is a mule deer, and perhaps it is just me, but they don't seem as skittish as the white-tail deer.
I was at a cabin in the Cheney, Washington area. The light was fading and to make matters worse, my hands were shaky. I can see where a tripod would have made a difference, but I neglected to bring it - however, the use of this cabin has been extended to me whenever I feel the need to get away.
I was there to see if it was a place where I'd like to spend a couple of days - and I'm guessing everybody knows my answer!
Please enjoy your day and weekend!

Hello Kathy, have a great stay in your cabin in Cheney, beware of the bears et al! You sure will come back with great pictures for us to look at because your whereabouts always lead you where you need to. This little fawn is so pretty, lucky you! Like St-Exupéry, you manage to get close to animals. thanks for this nice sight, it is superb.

Hi Kathy,
A lovely fawn in a wonderful natural setting. We have Mule Deer here but I have never seen a spotted one. The face and ears are the same. Nice colors and fine details of the face and coat. I love the way she is glancing at you.

Hi Kathy
You've captured an innocent and special moment with this cute little fawn. I love the soft light and how the sun is still shining behind the fawn. Excellent composition and details.
Take Care and TFS Janice
