Gemsbuck [ Oryx gazella ]is a large African antelopeof the Oryx genus.
They are light brown to greyish in colour with light patches to the bottom rearof the rump with long black tails.They live in herds of between 10 and 40 animals consisting of a dominant male.Standind about 1.4m at the shoulder with males weing 230 to 250 Kg. and females 200 to 220 Kg.
They can reach a running speed of up to 56 Km/ hour.
