[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
In my previous note I wrote that we were focused on the larger group of Elk in the field while not noticing the mother and young appearing out of the woods. Well this is the larger group we were focused on. I took this photo after the loud call when they were starting to move toward the edge of the field in search of the evening location.

They all didn't move really fast, most of them still had a bite to eat while others kept a keen eye on us. This was actually the last time we saw the Elk. They did not return to this pasture and we had to do with the howling of the coyote at night.

Hi Niek,
a great cross over between landscape and wildlife shot here. You've caught the golden hue of the long grasses beautifully and the herd of Elk are placed perfectly in the scene. Excellent clarity and details too, thanks for sharing this moment.

Hi Niek!

The softness and shine of the field makes a wonderful environment to the subject, making the whole photo look so peaceful. Nice to see them with their environent too in such a perfect quality: I think it's something that's rare to see on TN. TFS!

Best regards,
Andor

Your just doin with elk is something....Wish I could achieve a fraction of this beauty, Niek!
