Wolly necked stork [ Ciconici spiscopus] a large wading bird in the stork family Ciconiidae.Widespread tropical species which breeds in Africa and also Asia from India to Indonesia. It is a resident breeder in wetlands with trees.A large stick nest is built in forest trees laying about 2 - 5 eggs.Usually silent but indulges in mutual bill clattering when adults meet at the nest.

Great shot of this Wooly Necked Stork in flight. You have captured details like the 2 coloured beak, the longish neck, the impressive and beautiful wings and especially the eye well. I like the shine caught on the dark feathers, it displays really beautiful. It was indeed a great pleasure stopping by such a charming bird. Thanks for sharing. Best regards.
