A fine capture of a very intreguing insect! The large eyes may suggest a species of fly, but the wings, antennae and absence of balancers suggest that this is a species of solitary bee or wasp.
An additional dorsal view might have been helpful for the ID.

"Shirasasanam" ? perfect yoga posture, I too have seen this insect in this position,only if some one could tell us the reason for same.

A fascinating insect very well captured here.
The pose is rather funny. I wish you'd captured it from different angles but I know myself how you forget or else how it flies off! :-) The eye looks enormous and I like its colours. Well done!
