Great picture, except that the left wing tip has gone slightly soft and the space behind the butterfly is a little excessive in my opinion, Maurizio.
In terms of composition as a whole, it is a very attractive image.
As there are small variations in pattern it is almost impossible to give an ID without seeing the underside of the wings and titania cannot be ruled out. I can only guess that this fine capture can be a male euphrosyne. The shape of the body shows that it is a male.
The upperside features are shown with fine sharpness on most of the wings against a pleasing BG.
THanks and have a good weekend,

Great macro capture of this kind of of fritillary! An exceptionally well taken shot with superb sharpness and wonderfully chosen POV. The shallow DOF works well here. The eyes are the best part of the picture. The contrast between the colors of small pearl-bordered fritillary butterfly and the blurred green BG, is superb. Very well seen!
thanks and regards,

Buona giornata,Luciano

Hi Maurizio . Not to sure why i missed this little beauty yesterday. It stands out very well. With its bright orange colour. Your top POV lets us see all of the markings with fine detail. Stands out so well from the plain BG. well done TFs.
Have a good weekend.

Beautiful!!! You show this Pearl-bordered Fritillary capturing all her beauty. I love the shape, colors, wonderful markings and fine details. The position on the leaves and the green background are superb. A very unusual and lovely composition.

pretty, nicely composed, gently lighted presentation of Boloria. A closer identification would require to see the underside of wings, but from the location your image is most likely to show Boloria dia. Size of body compared to wings also would suggest the smallest one of the choice which is B. dia. Thank you!
With best regards,

I of course don't know which specie it is, I only know is pleasant to look at. Beautiful colors and details on the right wings. The left became a bit oof, but I guess it was unavoidable. Background's good, too - what I changed if I were You is the cropping. A classical centered composition would have even be nicer in this case - but it's just a personal taste. Otherwise the image's superb.
Ciao e grazie, László
