We were at a cottage for the weekend and I took sometime out for some pics. It was an overcast day so they are not the best. I paddled around some Loons and this one I liked best

you did an excellent photo of the Loon
with fine POV, DOF and framing,
excellent focus on it with sharpness and details,
its pose gives dynamism to the photo, TFS


Great pose you captured Jason. Overall good sharpness as well. It's not always easy to get a good pose from them. As for the overcast weather you had, I think you made out okay with this photo. Well done! TFS Trevor

Jason - this is such an interesting capture. Is he flying out of the water or is he getting sucked into it?? Very cool. Do wish we could see the eyes, but I've never seen a Loon before (that I know of?) and maybe their eyes are not easily seen. Very nice crop and framing. Good detail.
