[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I have been indebted to Mr.Laszlo for his help and assistance in the fungi shot. Mr. Laszlo helped me with the ID, telling its habitat and other vital information about fungi and mushrooms.
It is such a treasure to me as Im in the cave of darkness when the topic fungi is discussed. I dont have any scientific and research background at all. I know very little about this topic so that it is insignificant to discuss in TN.
Thanks Hormon Manyer for being kind to share your deep knowledge and experience. I really appreciate it.
Hope you dont mind with your helping hands in the futur fungi shots.
As for this capture, it is a hard to balance shot especially when the light shine from the top and the trunk is partly hidden too.
Thought it might not be the most beautiful fungi shot, I still like it and I dedicate it to you, Mr. Laszlo.
I hope the photo fits to be dedicated to you.
Thanks.

Hi Foozi,

Wonderful capture of the fungi again! Great gift for our TN friend, László! I am sure that László would be more than happy to see it.

The sharpness and POV are perfect along with great use of comparatively shallow DOF. I like the position of the subject, spreading thorughout the frame, giving it a very lively appearance. The dark blurred BG (a tree) enhances the beauty of the picture, by giving great contrast to the light colored fungi. Beautiful composition!

best regards,
Paras Bhalla

Hi Foozi,

Thank You very much for Your heartfelt dedication. I'm really glad I was able to help You in some cases, and of course I "give my helping hands" in the future, too, whenever I can. Paras is right, I'm happy to get this great gift from You.

This fungi seems the same Oudemansiella-type specie what I commented a few days ago, but I can't be sure. Unfortunately, my "helping hands" don't mean real help in this case, I'm not a professional mycologist either, just a fungi-lover amateur.

Photographically: again great light management in difficult conditions. Well shown gills and cap texture - although the fruitbody on the right side seems a bit oof. To avoid this problem in the future: take Your focus settings to the square centimeter on any of the caps which is the closest to Your position. It helps. Beside this, minimal trouble a wonderful photo.

Thank You very much again MF. I wish You rain and warm - the best conditions for fungi. :) Friendly Yours, László

Hello Foozi,
Yes, László is the man to dedicate a fine fungus shot like this. The POV is ideal to show both surfaces of the hats and the sharpness, colours and treetrunk BG add to the appeal of this image.
Thanks and all the best,
Ivan

Hi Foozi,

The close-up view is allowing us to see the details and colors of the ballerina fungi. The subject is well frame. It is clear and sharp. There is a good contrast between the colors of the tree abd the colors of the fungi. Have a nice day.
