Hello Nick,
You're lucky to have Long-tailed Tits coming to your garden and to be able to take shots like this!
The pose on the twig is great and taken with fine sharpness and colours from a nice POV. Though the garden BG is a bit busy here it is well enough OOF to allow the bird stand out in this nice composition.
Thanks and enjoy the rest of your weekend,
Ivan

Hello Nick,
what a wonderful capture of the Long-Tailed Tit, one of my favourite birds, not easy to photograph this restless small bird, you have taken it in a marvellous pose against a very good BG with superb sharpness and splendid colours, excellent POV, DOF and composition.
TFS
Have a good weekend.

Hi Nick,
Your garden sounds like a bird sanctuary! I'm envious. These Long Tailed Tits are adorable and this one does have the look of an imp. His face is so cute and I love the red ring around his eye. The plumage is wonderful and of course you show the bird in fine detail and nice natural colors. A beautiful background and composition. Hope your weekend is a good one.

Hello Nicholas!
This one is really cute! I know this species also from Lodz (especially easy to observe now in late summer and early autumn). Your presentation shows it in natural envronment and with perfect technique. This is one of the best photos of Aegithalos caudatus (in Polish: raniuszek :>) I have seen in TN.
My best congratulations and best greetings from Lodz,
Radomir

Hello Nick,
How interesting! They must feel safer in a group.
I have never seen them in my garden although we have blue, great and coal tits, regularly.
You were right in your description, it has a cheeky face! I like how you have captured its eye, beak and plummage so clearly. IOt will help me to recognise them if one should appear!
Good dof to keep it sharp against the oof b/g.
Kind regards,
Bev :-)

It feels good to be back Nick and of course you're one of the main reasons why!Your almost TN-long if not longer, collection of birds are among the best...in many ways they all have your own signature...a certain technique which I still hold close...Thanks for much!

Tu talento creativo y dominio de la ténica fotografiando a pequeñas aves son realmente soprendentes. Felicidades de nuevo por esta pequeña belleza. Luz ténue, aunque atractiva y efectiva. Excelente trabajo Nicholas.

Hi Nick,
Love your description of them, spot on, which is why I have never mangaged to get a clear shot of them. They have not appeared yet at my new home, but I'm hoping.
A great image, great colours, focus and I like the pose of it on the branch (you can't see me). A nice natural coloured background.
TFS, regards Bill

Hi Nicholas,
The branches are framing well the bird. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the Long Tailed Tits. It is clear and sharp. The colors are enhanced by the quality of the light. Have a nice day.
Pierre
