[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Took this in 103 degree heat. The dragonflies love the heat and I got some good close-ups. This is a new species for me. As always used a Gitzo G2228 carbon mono tripod with Kirk BH-3 [?] ball head, ISO 200, SB-800 fill flash, and Photoshop CS2 to crop, adjust levels and sharpen.

A year in Thailand where 11 months of the year I lived in a thatched hut and temps were always between 97 to 107 helped wreck my brain so 103 degrees seems tolerable even to my 66 year old frame.

Very good shot!
I can't identify this odonata, but it's beautiful.
