shot taken in the very early morning, thus a yellowish light.
Osprey is only preying on fish, therefore the very long toes and claws
Ospreys in Egypt on the Red Sea coast are much more approachable than European birds, it was easy to get as close as 50 Meters to them without any reaction.
Under some conditions it was even possible to get much closer, more about that approach tomorrow ...

Wow! Look at the size of those legs and talons and claws!
Would hate to be a mouse on the ground!
What intensity in the eyes.
Great light and very sharp.
The blue sky provides a clean backdrop.

A lovely bird and with even lovelier details. Early mornig is always best for wildlife unless you use infra-red. TFS.
