Another shot from my recent trip to the Mud Volcanoes reservation from Buzau County.

This photo was actually taken before the previous two, trying to take advantage of the beautiful full moon. I found a mud cone that was quite active and worked around the liquid mud that was flowing and reflecting the sky light.

Interesanta imaginea, desi dramatismul si contrastul este mai mic, decat la cele postate anterior (lipseste soarele), aceasta are ceva aparte.

i see i have missed some amazing shots from a fascinating location! You have been busy, like me!
Obviously, the composition is first class, but the general ambience and 'other world' feel you have is is superb...this must have been wonderful to see in person my friend. You have chosen a great POV to make the most of that silvery mud in the moonlight...taken like a true pro :o)

The volcanic landscape combines well with the moon hovering above, the composition is balanced with good details...

Hi Horia,
I love the clean look of this photo. It allows for a full focus on the iluminated mud and the full moon. You planned your trip perfectly and had the luck to get a full moon and clean sky.
I like the gradient color of the sky and the texture in the moon a lot. The latter shows the most perfect exposure I've ever seen of a moon lit landscape.
