Hallo Ewan
Yes, I missed your images, and I am glad to see you popped in.
Time is currently chasing me but, in short I want to say:………..
How beautiful is this serene seascape. The detail of the foam of the
waves is so lovely to look at, the wetness of the rocks beautifully
displayed and the colours in the sky magic.
Thanks for sharing.Kind regards from a very humid Empangeni.

Hi Ewan,
Well, this picture almost turned out into a news one due to the cliff plummet.
I like the composition made, the pattern of the foam running in between the stones, and the general hue.
Great work and thanks for share it.
Best regards,
JM

Hi Ewan and nice to see something new from you...it's been a while indeed :)
This is again a great seascape, despite the fact that you weren't lucky for a full spectrum of colors thanks to the very "nice" weather.
I really like the attention you have the FG here and how well that white foam accentuates all those nice glossy rocks.
Also, the shape of the clouds is another key element here that goes well with the shoreline and the mood of the scene.
Overall, a lovely photo my friend.
Keep trying...you'll get the conditions right eventually ;)
Cheers and TFS

hi Ewan
once again I find myself re-typing yet another critique for some reason they keep failing to upload....
Anyhow - trying to sum it up again...
I like this picture, I know what it is like when you have waited for a sunset and it has not happened - it usually happens to be at the top of a mountain! coming down in the dark without the shots you were wanting is rather disappointing to say the least, so I am glad that you managed to get some shots from your visit to the cliffs.
I think I would probably have made more of the rock in the foreground that is to the right. It has a lot of power to it and would have added greatly to the foreground of this picture, but I do like the long exposure to that has given you to details highlighted by the white foam of the waves.
was this not the weekend that the storm hit the UK?

Hi Ewan,
I love the drama in this photo. The contrast between the cool blue water and warm colored sky is great. The many different patterns of the water flowing inbetween the many rock gave you a stunning foregrond and lots of interest.
TFS,
Niek
