Tiny Grass Blue is the Second Tinniest Butterfly in Indian Subcontinent after Grass Jewel which is the Tinniest ever recorded in India. (Grass Jewel (freyeria trochylus freyer) can be seen in my album).
The male has a pale blue glistering upper surface while the female is brown. Both have dark thin borders on their wings. On the underside of its wings are fine, small, dark brown or black spots. The pattern of spots is important in distinguishing the species.
