Loot will be thrilled out of his skin to see this delightful image dedicated to him. Firstly because it is such a spectacular photograph and secondly because it is from you Scott Evers for whom he has great admiration and respect. He speaks about you often. You captured this Osprey with such superb clarity and detail it actually waters my eyes looking at it, as it is amazingly beautiful. Your camerawork is outstanding and looking at this image I can understand how come Loot has always considered you to be a photographer with exceptional talent and skill. The image as a whole is remarkable and indeed praiseworthy. A great dedication from one great photographer to another. Thanks for sharing and making my husbands day and mine to, because when he is happy I am happy and he is definitely going to be happy once he has laid his eyes on this one. Best regards.

Hi Scott

Shucks my friend…goose bumps. Sheer enjoyment and appreciation. When I said to
you that you should pop in on TrekNature, from time to time, I did not expect that this
awesome raptor was going to be dedicated to me. Hey, no complaints from me though.
No sir, I am happy as can be and there are 2 main reasons for it. Firstly, this amazing
bird that flew all the way from Florida to elate me and secondly, the fact that this is the
first posting you did in exactly 2 years. The last one was on 10/01/2008. How time flies?

This Osprey image is an absolute masterful piece of work. I can't remember when last
did I see a posting with such amazing exposure levels, ultra sharp details, and so well
balanced tones. Truly stunning stuff and I sincerely hope you're not going to let us wait
another 2 years before you decide to grace the gallery once more with another example
of such similar, perfect attributes. Actually it is not a request, it is an instruction Lieutenant.

Excellent full frame image Scott, you fit em' in nicely..
One can't beat that wings up pose, great post processing my friend.

PS - I just talked to a landowner here, they have a 200 acre ranch. They've offered me access in the months ahead. They say they see the Mexican Eagle there regularly, along with Red-tailed Hawk nests, etc.

A superb uncropped shot of an Osprey. I like the pose and the POV is just right and taken with excellent sharpness and lighting. The composition against the blue sky couldn't be better!
