Horia
Superba captura!
Seamana cu o cascada sau cu un rau inghtat, sau poate amandoua!
Felicitari!
Vad ca pe langa ski nu ai uitat aparatul acasa!

Wow, this is beautiful mate! The long exposure has turned this into an almost dream like scene. I love your POV here, the cascading water seems to flow out of the frame, and the back drop of strange ice formations is superb. You really used your imagination here to create an image with alot of mood and depth...very well done, i would love to have this in my colection!
Congratulations and bravo,
Paul

Hi Horia,
Impressive, dramatic and almost sub-realist! good cutting and vertical composition, excellent framing.
TFS!

Wow, Horia.... That looks c-o-l-d!
I really like the effect you produced with your slowed shutter speed.
The contrast of the textures between the frozen ice and the flowing water makes for an artistic composition.
Also so much movement in the water against the rigidity of the icicles.
TFS. ; )

Buna Horia
Ceva mai deosebit, care sa ne aminteasca ca asa trebuie sa fie o iarna adevarata. Ca de obicei, ai reusit extraordinar de bine sa controlezi expunerea lunga, culorile, care se apropie de fapt de monocromatic. Fain !
Toate cele bune,
Oana

hello Horia,
Hope you'll be doing fine friend. A wonderful change and for a change what a marvelous photo to share and present to friends here. The winter has beautiful set on the river and though it is not fully frozen as the shot reveals, it has given you this wondrous photo with an all white background and yet the photo has a great appeal. A wonderful scene and thanks a lot for sharing and also for your consistent support....take care and stay well...warmest regards/Abid
Hi Horia
well that has inspired me for when I am back in Scotland in 3 weeks time. - not that I have an 8 stop ND filter - best I can do is add 2 together to get to 5...
I really love the composition of this one - it is stunning and I keep coming back to it.
TFS

Hi Horia
A couple of days ago we were neighbours and you provided some kind and wonderful
comments to my Cryptic Mantis. Thanks so much and once again it was great to hear
from you. Unfortunately I was a little sidetracked since, but eventually I can try to catch
up on some critiques. This iced scene actually made me think of the stalactites and the
stalagmites one find in many caves. The timed capture added even more mystique to
this already fascinating image as it provided a certain sense of inscrutability (mystery)
with the collective effect of the flowing water. Great stuff.
Well done and TFS.
Regards
Loot

Hi Horia,
I didn't know you bought yourself a dens ND filter. Isn't it a fun filter to have? I hope you've followed the discussion I had with Emma because I mentioned to her about a mobile phone application that can assist in calculating the shutter speed with these type of filters.
Your venture through town paid of well. The slow motion of the fast flowing water contrasts nicely with the solid frozen water. I like how both water ways enter from the top merge and flow down the composition.
At first I found the purple hue not so atractive, but the longer I look at it the more I don't mind it. Maybe a cool blue version would be an idea.
TFS,
Niek

Hello Horia,
impressive torrents of icy water forming a very attractive contrast to the deeply frozen walls. Capture of intensely dramatic beauty, clearly showing your distictly artistic handwriting.
Nice to see that you visited Austria, I hope you enjoyed it!
The very well preserved rich mountain meadows around Virgen are one of my favourite places in summer, too.
With thanks, and best regards,
Peter
