Well I really cannot resist to post this one for Jusni, because on the morning train arrival to his hometown at 9am, he picked me up and sent me straight away to the island paradise of Langkawi by ferry, my 1st visit here to the northern states of Kedah/Perlis. Thank you so much, Jusni.
We had plenty of fun, shared laughters and everything else, after 2 years on the treksites. Next day at lunch, we had encountered monkeys climbing down from trees. When I saw the one of the mothers coming down with this golden one, I was moved by a force to capture again this incredible beauty and natural wonder.
How would a baby of golden transform into black when it matures into adult? Well that is c'est la vie and just the way things work around here for them. I am glad I had this on capture. I am lazy to change the data info of lens used but it is Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 and not as shown here.
Specially for you. Happy 2010. Amazing! |

Hi Bill.
Thanks so much for the dedication and Happy 2010 to you too. Thanks for the dedication and I am just curious as you are about the changing in colors of these monkeys. The juvenile looks rather big but the color is still golden. Your Tamron is sharp and the baby looks like a doll form toyhouse. The focus is tack sharp and you have done really well with the image.
I had a great time with you during the visit and I have learned a lot about your philosophy in life. Such a fine man with great character and also a skilled photographer.
Thanks again and best regards to you and your family.

p/s: Just got home from going around Kedah with Foozi today. I guess he was motivated when his image is featured in this month Digital Camera magazine's Hotshot.
