Hi All,

Another "two in one" capture from kruger, this one I made in the restcamp Satara's bird bath close to the restaurant,so it is smart to have always your camera within reach whenever you visit kruger.....

Both are very colorfull birds which I hadnt photographed before so I was quite happy with the results of the series I made.

Tthe right one is the green winged pytilia (or melba finch),the left one is the blue waxbill.

Hope you like this couple and thanks for your time..

Hallo Paul,
Groet,
Peter

the colours of the bathing beauties and the very ambience created by the mirror is thrilling to look at.Geen winged pytilla ooks a bit agressive while the blue waxbill gives a coy look.Great conversation moodbetween the two.The bokeh that span the frame in BG is wonderful and adds to the aesthetics of the image.

Hello Paul,
A superb capture of these two small colourful bathing finches. The POV shows their details well despite the wet plumage and the sharpness and focusing are spot on.
Thanks and best wishes,
Ivan

Hi Paul,
Great sighting, I love the colors and detail. VWD and TFS.

Hello Paul,
Quite common in Kruger in my humble experience. Nevertheless difficult to capture as the focus might be difficult due to their small size. Both are surprisingly well within the depth of field range. Nicely done...

I love watching birds having a good time, and these two clearly enjoyed their bath! Great capture of these two colourful birdies, nice and sharp, excellent light.
