this is something special from the natural phenomena. you did very well for point to think and to ponder. Lovely trees and bushes in the crater that are well contrasted with reddish earth.
I like the strate formation.
Well seen in good details.

Sa traiasca domn`Alin,
ce coincidenta, ceva asemanator am postat si eu dar din Croatia. Interesanta si ideea ta de a reda viata de dupa dintr-un crater. Uimitor cum aceste plante reusesc sa se dezvolte.
O zi calduroasa,
P.S. Am dedicat o poza tuturor fotografilor romani, sper sa-ti placa.

The old crater is real a ruin, but together with a lot green vegetation.
This care for soft contrast and nice composition.
Very well done, TFS.

This is an impressive shot - I would need to check the rocks for sure - but they look like limestone - in case this would be a karst solution-collapse feature. Rain water dissolves the limestone over many, many years creating a cave. Eventually the rock on top becomes too heavy and collapses. They are a form of dolina (spelling varies).

A fine capture of the side of a crater formed by land subsidence. The POV shows its features with fine colours and clarity and the iron-rich limestone cliff contrasts well with the vegetation.
Thanks and kind regards,

Interesante documento Alin, que me recuerda además muchos tipos de tierra y vegetación de mi zona.

it must've been a huge landslide! Composed nicely and shown with good details. There's only a little blue fringing on the bg trees but apart from that it's really nice, TFS!

An excellent capture of this amazing crater showing a beautiful red rock face with interesting 'caves' half'way down. Very interesting vegetation too and lovely details and colours.
Many thanks and have a nice weekend, Ulla

Really nice landscape showing that "wall" - maybe a touch overexposed, but taken from a wonderful POV and composed well. Tfs. Friendly regards, László
