In this photo we see a severe solar radiation unwieldy, but obviously the result is very good. Beyond that, the diversity of elements provided by the thorny shrub is very interesting. As always, I see your work done with that bridge Canon, is rewarding.
I've been practicing with some birds and my little Canon to full zoom, I find that the manual approach yields better results and select the option of custom colors bringing the level of sharpness and saturation to the highest, compensated well the abnormalities caused by increasing the focal length. I hope to post some of these pictures soon :-).
Greetings, thanks for staying poles; is very interesting to me, see your photos.

Jane my good friend, how nice is to see your pics again! This is a great picture for valentine's day, the Curve-billed Thrasher is a frequent visitor to my yard but unfortunately I don't have the same luck as you to photograph them.. Maybe some day, your picture is nice and warm (love Az!).. Well done

Even though the grey thorn-bush BG is not the best it is a fine capture of this pair of Curve-billed Thrashers.
The POV is great as they sit on top of the cactus and face opposite directions and they are well seen with nice sharpness and lighting, their eyes being so characteristic.
Thanks and have a good weekend,
