Hello Sion,
A very nice in-flight of the Red Kite, a species that one was priviledged to see in the UK when I lived there and when they could only be seen in Wales.
This was taken from a fine POV in excellent lighting and with fine sharpness in a pleasing composition.

The colors on this raptor are amazing and well photographed. The PP work has created a slight halo around the raptor almost as if it were producing an electric glow, pretty cool.

Hi Sion

It is good to see how your photography has improved over the relative short time you've
been active on TrekNature. With many people who join the site it just seems like there's
never any real development taking place, but fortunately there are also many who shows
noticeable improvement and I am happy to include you in this latter group. Great stuff.

Doing in-flight shots of birds are really a daunting challenge and you have succeeded with
a good image here. Pity that the cloudy sky didn't play along with you, because it is always
so much better to have a nice clear blue sky for this kind of photography. Not that it is your
fault though. Anyway, at least the bird is well captured and pleasing on the eyes. Good and
sharp details are visible with nice natural colour rendition and great exposure control. Keep
it up MF.

How beautiful is the plumage of this bird. You have managed to capture this frozen moment of action in the air with great detail. A very pleasant view that shows the incredible wingspan of this striking bird. This is a great picture with superb colors and composition. Excellent work, exploiting well the 500mm focal length and luminosity (1/1000s shutter speed is very good for this photo). The bird works very well with this pose that seems suspended in air. Excellent POV. A technically well-managed photo.
