When we look at a butterfly or capture one in a photograph, we usually marvel at the intricate colours and the patterns and shapes.

This one shows from a close range , not only the patterns but also the velvety texture, the finely shaped front tentacles and the range of colours that decorate a butterfly.

Hope you will like the shot that I took at Lachen village in Sikkim, India.

Hello Saiba,
A fine close-up of a male of a species of Emperor Moth (Saturniidae). The dorsal POV shows the male's feather antenae and parts of the wings and body with nice sharpness and colours.
