[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This image was made out of 5 exposures, each focused on a different part of the fly. Combining these exposures to one shot resulted in this image with a rather large DoF. The software used to do this is called "CombineZM" and can be downloaded without charge.

Light is all natural, as is the water on the fly: during cold nights dew drops are often formed on insects. This cools them down quite a bit, rendering them completely inactive. This is of course very interesting for anyone interested in macro photography :)

I used a Nikkor 60mm macro lens combined with a Raynox MSN-202 close-up lens attached to it.

in my view this is a terrific close up! Well done just fantastic!Some minor level adjustments is require in Photoshop, I think! But very, very good macro image!
