[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Asteriscus graveolens is a common desert perennial. It has peach scented leaves that are used for tea. I know this plant well form the Israeli deserts and was happy to find it so common also in Morocco. I used my pocket camera this time, just put it on the ground and pressed without even looking. I found this technique very useful for wide-angle - habitat pics. |

Hello Ori,
Your technique seems to have worked extremely well by the looks of this beautiful image. The very low POV gives this photo an interesting look to it that otherwise might have been lost. I love the fact that you can see the sky in the BG as the plant reaches upward.
The second plant in the BG even though semi blurred, adds depth to the over-all image. Great detail and natural colors. TFS.
I'm going to have to give your technique a try sometime and see what I can come up with.

Hi Ori,
An excellent shot, makes the most of the G10's inherent great depth of field to good effect. In good light, that's an amazing camera, from what I've seen of other's results.
That's a very nicely arranged image, and the color and detail are wonderful.
