River Earth and Sky

|A reflection of Altocumulus clouds in the Red Deer River.|
I'm back from my canoe trip down the Red Deer River. 108 km of 38C days, lots of mosquitos and sore arms from paddling. The food was great, we don't go hungry that's for sure.
The River was just like a mirror on this morning which created a nice reflection of the clouds and sky. I did loose a bit of the clouds as I did not want to include the bow of the canoe.
I took this image from the canoe, an excuse not to paddle.

Very lovely nature shot, a rather simple and minimalist composition, but definately beautiful in a very unclutter way. The POV put us right in the middle of the river, so one either swim or die, or start paddle :) Beautiful and natural colors, beautiful clouds and the reflection makes it double the fun.

what a dramatic composition of this river view. I like the clouds so effective and so exciting.
The perspective of the river is so stunning, it goes very far and endless.
Lovely view in such an exciting landscape.
