[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
GRAZIE

Maurice and TN Dear Friends,
I zoomed more pictures and I noticed that my head looks different, see if YOU can give directions to that particular identification.
THANKS

Buon Venerdi'! Luciano

Cambia i titoli!

Roberto

Hi Vanni
there are 2 types of mallards, the wild and the feral. The feral is bigger with a bigger bill. Feral ones have been massively released in the wild by hunters.
Secondly, there have been a lot of cross breeding with other species (Pintail, Common Teal, muscovy duck, ...). Consequently a large part of wild mallards display differences in morpho as compared to the native wild morpho
it's look like a non pure wild type female mallard to me.
Regards
Jean-Marie

Bonjour Vanni,
Anne

Very well done my friend!

Cheers,
