[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Hebe bush in my garden has a nice collection of small tortoiseshell butterflies feeding, this is one of them. A common and familiar garden species. Sun-loving, seen on the wing from March - October with two or three broods. Upper wings marbled orange, yellow and;black, underparts smoky-brown. Gregarious caterpillars feed on the common nettle. It has a wingspan of 42 mm

Hallo William
Great shot! What's there to say, it's a really good capture - I'd be happy with a shot half this good. No comments about the photography itself, it's on the nail as far as I'm concerned. Thanks for sharing. Best regards.
