I also do not know what the name of this grasshopper is or the sound that it makes, but I can tell you this is a beauty with lots of striking qualities to admire. Absolutely wonderful details captured. Focus, sharpness and viewpoint is just great. The rocky texture of the surface is beautiful and highlights the insect well and brings out the striking features and warm colours to the best. I enjoyed looking at this well presented macro.
