Hi Alex,i see yesterday on TV a documentary about these spiders so differents...really interesting that these spiders do not weave the web but are camouflaged with the colors of the flowers and wait patiently for their prey. The pic is truely fantastic, impossible to make better, what a sharpness, colors and composition!!And you can see that the color of the heasth of malva is the same of spider. Thanks for share, have a nice weekend,LUCIANO

Absolutely perfect. The combination of colours in this image is great and brought across beautifully. The presentation is pleasant and very precise. The composition spot on. All round 10/10. I cannot find fault. It is a very lucky spider and pity for the bee it caught but hey that is nature. Your photography here has brought out all 3 subjects details and colours beautifully. A great 3 in 1 special. Thanks for sharing. Best regards.

Alexei, this is an impressive and aesthetically pleasing documentation of Nature and its ways. A Crab Spider has enticed this Bumblebee to make a meal out of it and it has succeeded. I had also captured a similar scene a couple of years ago, but your image of this existential drama is far superior than mine in terms of the merits of outstanding nature photography. Both the predator and the prey are in sharp focus and the flower provides the authentic background for this action.
Well done and thanks for sharing this super image.

A beautiful picture and wonderful remarks and title. There is so much beauty in nature and too much tragedy. I don't think there is much we can do but accept what is, at times shed some tears, and always appreciate the beauty. You captured the sad moment perfectly memorializing the little bee. The lower is amazing with the lovely shades of pink and the fine details.

Fantastic capture, with so nice colours and 3D effect. The scene is so alive even if it means the death of this pretty bumblebee. I suppose the crab spider was hidden in the yellow heart of the mallow... Well done! Have a nice Sunday,

Sometimes beautiful and tragic are linked and this is a very good illustration for it. Lovely and fine tints of the Malvae-flower and ambushed in it the "vicious" crabspider which has already was successful. Fine sharpness and interesting narrow view with a perfect depth of field.

Fantastic macro as always from You. Everything is top notch: sharpness, compo, colors, lights, story... Yes, this is the law of wild nature - but if the spider doesn't attack and eat, he'll be the dying one... Incredible presentation, and the subject's extraordinary. Congrats and tfs.
Friendly regards, László
