A brilliant view of these lovely Moths posing beautifully for you! I love the POV, the sharp details and the lovely natural colours. Very well composed too. I've hardly seen any Zygaena species this year - sooo sad because I do love them!

Wonderful use of symmetry in this macro! ... And to think they are two different species! ... really amazing!
And this macro is technically good, uste has placed great light in the subject, has an artistic BG, and additionally the cutting and nice composition.
Good job, great quality! It shows that you know very well your Olympus E1! Such work demonstrates it!

Sehr schönes Zygaenae-Duo, beide perfekt im Fokus, ein Bild mit natürlichen Farben und schönem feinem Hitergrund. Chapeau!

Hi Peter,
It looks like those two Six-spot Burnets are mating. Strange that one has one white leg.
The symetry effect is so great indeed. the light is just perfect. green and red are complementary colors: the green background couldn't be beter.

Lieber Peter,
das Gemeine Blutströpfchn, endgültige Version! Es gibt viele Versuche (auch von mir) , das schöne Tier abzulichten, schliesslich reproduziert es sich in meinem Garten. Aber die schwarz-schillernden Tiere sind eine Herausforderung. Mein Blitz versagt in solchen Fällen. Dank bedecktem Himmel und der interessanten Komposition ist Dir hier ein Meisterstück gelungen.
