I have a few " birth of a croc images i will be posting over the next week, hope you enjoy.
Only the fittest and strongest of the little ones will survive the gauntlet of predators they face.
Birds, fish, turtle and even other crocodiles like nothing more than a croc snack so they have to rely on hiding away to survive long enough so that they are big enough to be taken off the menu.It is estimated that about three out of five hundred will make it too adulthood.Once they reach adulthood the tables are turned and there is not much that threatens them becides man.It is difficult to believe that such helpless little reptiles can become the cunning ferocious killers we all know.Only a matter of survival after all they have been around since the dinosaur age.[ 200 million years or so]
