|Turkey Tail |
Thanks to my TN friend, László, for helping me with the ID.
This is growing on a tree stump in my shady back yard. I found the pattern and colors interesting.

Wonderful shot, but the photographed species is Turkey Tail (Trametes versicolor (L.) Lloyd), not Smoky Bracket (Bjerkandera adusta (Willd.) P. Karst.), it's quite different. Great monochromatic composition, nice exposure and use of available lights. Tfs.
Have a nice weekend, best regards, László

I see our friend László has given you the right ID of this bracket fungus.
It's a great shot, a fine portrait of this species taken with nice natural colours in a nice composition.
Thanks and have a good weekend,
Excellent capture with superb natural colours and very good details.
Lovely and interesting composition.
