Hello Bayram,
Impressive photo. I would be very glad when I could make a photo of a scorpion. You got not only a special one, but also with children. Great sharpness, details, natural colours and POV. The photo in the WS is also very beautiful.

An exceptional shot Dayi! Very intriguing creatures. The composition is excellent, first class clarity too. Great use of the ring-flash, really makes everything stand out. You were quite lucky to get her while carrying her childs on her back, like something you'd see in The National Geographic. Conratulations dayi!
Warm regards,
Mel

Prof Bayram, this is marvellous!
You have captured a rare sight from nature -- a mother Scorpion carrying her babies on her back.
The picture is exceptionally outstanding both technically and aesthetically.
The light grey babies look so delicate it is difficult to imagine they can be lethally poisonous.
Thanks and regards.

Superb capture!
To find a female scorpion bearing her young (children) is noteworthy, but to be able to take such a fine shot as well is wonderful!
Excellent use of flash to achieve fine sharpness and colours from an ideal POV.

Hallo Bayram
Wow, what and interesting and most spectacular sight this must have been? Truly awesome detail seen here on the mother as well as on the babies she is carrying. This is really a special image, and I am sure you must have been thrilled to find it in the place of the viper you where looking for. The centralized composition is just great and I like the detail of the groundy surface on which you captured this "family". Thanks for sharing. Best regards.

Merhaba Bayram,
Great capture MF! Impressive details on the mother and babies and excellent management of light in difficult conditions. Interesting post also to learn about the parental behavior of scorpions! If I'm not wrong, after looking at the exellent link you provide, it is a male of the same species we met last June in Cığlıkara. Right? Thanks to Mert who was not afraid (not like me hehe), I got a good photo of him. Good evening,
Cathy

I suspect that when you both study and teach about such things, your perspective is different than most, who might be more fearful than not. The addition of babies tends to make it a bit more frightening...it is analogous to the end of many horror films....one thinks the last is gone but alas...it becomes impregnated and the storyline continues.....however in my usual run on way...the quality is excellent!

Merhaba Bayram hocam,
Mehmet

Hello Bayram!
This is photography about! Going out, searching for subjects and when you find one than focus and try to do your best! You succeeded very well!! Amazing subject, amazing capture! As for those whom are afraid of this creatures... We are afraid of things we don't know... We should try to know them, to try to live with them... We inhabit together the Earth so we should try to do so for as long period as we can... Otherwise...

Merhaba MF Prof. Bayram,
exciting shot that depict the habit and the natural presentation of the scorpion. The contrast of the white children on the dark mother is indeed well seen.
The red earth also offers a good canvas.

The sharp details are phenomenal, and I add your work to my theme "Juveniles".
Thanks for your detailed notes and sharing your knowledge.
