Something slightly different today. Another picture from The Moon and Jupiter conjunction.

I like to watch sky. Power and magnitude of space is incredible for us, humans. Everyday we larn more about The Universe, its age and size, about so mysterious objects as black holes, quasars or supernovas. There are thousands of undiscovered mysteries, everytime we discover something new, more and more left to discover. And this is beauty of science. We can to describe objects placed billions of light years away, which are as old as The Universe itself. We can to observe novas explosions which took place millions years before. We can catch neutrinos or other particles and with their help illative what happened in other galaxies. We sended our spaceship outside our Solar system, to Mars and [2005 is very lucky year!] to Titan. We can even to bombard comets to learn more about them :-) We live in amazing times.

If you never thought how beautifull our Universe is, please take a look here

This a perfect picture about the moon. I like it. And the note good too.

A great shot - good details and perfect light. What was the zoom lenght for this one? TFS!

Nice shot I am surprised how sharp an image you can get. Somthing does not look right is it upside down.....

Wonderfully composed photo and an inspiring note. Very different from the usual photos on TN. Thanks for sharing it.

Certainly not the usual fare, very interesting incl. the note. Good detail too.
As a photo, the big moon at the bottom makes me want to push it up high in the sky. It's strange to see it at the bottom right. As this is the path the eye usually follows (reading direction from left to right and top to bottom), a mirror image would have directed the gaze more towards the easily-overlooked Jupiter. Without the note, you don't realize that this is a major point here. But then I understand that you would not want to edit this natural phenomenom. ;-)
TFS,
Gabi

Well done Greg. Excellent composition. The detail in the Moon is very good. Exposure is excellent. I have tried photographing the Moon but all I get is a blurred bright mess. Thanks.

Great shot Greg, I've got my own moon shot early one morning with Jupiter and Venus in conjunction with the moon just before daybreak..This is Very nice, Thanx!!
