Hello Silvio,
fantastic macro shot, outstanding sharpness and very beautiful bright colours,an ideal POV and a very pleasing composition.Best regards Siggi

Ciao SIlvio, questa si mette sempre in pose e luoghi impossibili, hai fatto davvero un bel lavoro.ci sentiamo fra 1 settimana....buona permanenza.... inter-juve 2-0

really beautiful butterfly.

I wasn't around lately, but you've obviously carried on with your wonderful lepidopteran close ups Silvio, the present one being no exception. What pleases me most here is the perfect concordance with the environment from the viewpoint of camouflage, a most expertly capture indeed my friend, thank you very much for it.
Mehmet

This Satyrinae seems to be a survivor, going by the condition of its wings, Silvio.
Nevertheless, you have captured it well against the trunk of a tree.
The blue BG enhances the appeal of the composition.
TFS and regards.
Ram

Hi Silvio. Wonderful photo of this butterfly, clear details and fine composition.
TFS and kind regards,
Özgür

Ah ah! Quoto alla grande Luciano circa il pronostico.....( ma la gufata è d'bbligo). Spendidi colori e magnifica luce nonche' un ottimo dettaglio. Attempata alquanto eh!

I like the comp & the light blue BG works nicely Silvio..
Tough light but you managed it well. A bit OE, not by much though.
You missed a couple of sensor spots, but then I'm picking on you :)
Have a great weekend!

Ciao Silvio,
A fine capture of a tattered and worn B. circe taken from a nice POV with good sharpness and colours in a pleasing composition on a rock.
Thanks and have a good weekend,
Ciao,
Ivan

Yes, another great shot! I agree the way the moth blends with the tree background is striking.

Paul

Bonjour Silvio

Usually butterflies standout from their environement by their shapes and colors. This one seems to blend with the rock in a comouflage process as the cameleons. Clean sharp image, well exposed, the POV gives us a chance to better see it while standing in front of the blue BG. Nice work and TFS.

Alain

Hola Silvio

Saludos: Josep Ignasi.

hello Silvio
great pose on the tree with good details and beautiful colours

Ciao Silvio,
Sorry to be so quiet - but for 10 days Telkom was down, and I had not telephone and Internet.
But today back in time for your latest great work:

Must have been quite difficult to focus with this camouflaged animal!!

However for you,the great experienced master no problema :-)) and the colours are great!

Buona sera and week end piacevole e un grande abbraccio
Ciao Ingrid

Poor thing has taken a beating which is perhaps why it is hiding on the lichen covered rock. Hard to tell where the rock stops and the creature starts...such similar colours. Well seen in the US of A Silvio!
Bob

Hola Silvio,
Ciertamente un bien explotado recorte vertical, una mariposa un poquito "desgastada por el tiempo", pero perfectamente detallada!... buena idea incorporar el perfecto BG azul del cielo! Buen trabajo, como siempre, visualmente agradable.

Despite the very worn appearance, it is still a beautiful butterfly.
Side point of view, with detail and very nice shooting technique.
