Bonjour Pierre,

Pas une image choquante mais attristante. Comme tu dis la nature est ainsi faite, vivre et mourrir. Je constate la disparition des défenses, j'espère que ce sont les authorités qui lui ont enlevés afin de ne pas encourager le braconnage et non pas des braconnier qui ont fait cet acte. Techniquement l'image est bien réalisée, artistiquement je n''accrocherais pas sur un mur de ma demeure, mais d'un point de vue reportage, l'image a de l'intérêt. Tu nous fais réaliser que la photographie ne se limite pas à illustrer ce qui est beau, mais aussi autre chose.

Not shocked about your photo but about man's greed.

In our area a lot of Rhinos are poached, last month 28!!

Just like heroin - as long as there are people who buy ivory jewelry, elephants will be killed...

Poor people will kill for less than thousands of Rands!

Thank you for showing this sad story of human behaviour.

It is sad, but it's part of nature. We are used to prezent beautiful images and beautiful subjects, but it seems that we forget ( or we don't like to see ) the only certitude in life: death!
