The Ring-billed Gull
The Ring-billed Gull is sometimes called the "fast food gull" because it often hangs around fast food restaurants scavenging for food.

Young gulls tested at only two days of age showed a preference for magnetic bearings that would take them in the appropriate direction for their fall migration.

HEAVILY CROPPED! Hence noise in blue sky which I had removed from clouds but forgot sky until uploaded.....whooops!

Hola Mr.Pro Photographer.
The Ring-billed Gull looks so nice against the white clouds and the blue sky looks well to me
It is nice to see You here my friend. I have been so busy last days, but here I am again.
TFS Bob. Hope You feel fine by now.

Hi Bob.
This is really that I see from your FB wall. The freedom of flight is so well depicted in the frame against the wide sky. Love the light and trace of blue sky behind the cloud.
Thanks for sharing and take good care of yourself.
Kind regards,

Hello Bob and my good nerighbour,
thank for liking my sepal of the mangrove apple. Its hesepal the fruits had already dropped.
This shoy of your reflects the vast freedom a bird has, up in the sky and above near the clouds.
Simple but meaningful.

Hello My Friend,
These guys even have a route they fly in Medicine Hat. First it's dumpster diving at McDonalds then when the top layer is checked it's off to A&W for the latest addition to that dumpster. Finally an old style drive in called Tino's for some garbage can fare. Every Bob Shannon image has a story that invites one to remember.
Thanks Bob.

HI Bob.
What an impressive picture in every aspect. Cloudy sky is simply amazing as well as alone gull at fine pose and wingspread. Bravo. Great reflection of spirit of flight.

Hello Bob,
This is a fine and heavenly shot..I like the way you show it, with the bird from far and the blue of the sky visible between the clouds. Some kind of minimalist and poetical shot.
Kind regards

Hi Bob,

The sky is framing well the gull. You hab capture well the bird in flight. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the Ring-billed Gull. There is a good contrast between the colors of the clouds and the colors of the sky. have a nice day.
