[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
We have often come across a waterhole where a lone elephant would be chasing away any animals that want to drink water. And this was the case in this photo. What you can also clearly see that it was in musk and then they tend to be quite aggressive. The poor warthogs just couldn't take a drink of water.

An Elephant bull in musk. They secrete a strong smelling liquid from a gland behind their eyes, signaling that they are looking for females.

Good capture Natley nice balance and DOF. Cropped a little tight for me I like to see a little more space around the subjects it gives them room to breathe. If that is not possible then less to the right and more to the left gives the elephant room to travel.

A fine, frontal capture of a magnificent bull elephant in perfect focus and exposure Natley, the brightly coloured natural surroundings and the frightening size difference between the bull and the warthogs make this a real fine image. Thanks for sharing it.
