Amasya, Ankara, Bolu, Çanakkale, Edirne, Eskişehir, İstanbul, Kırklareli, Sakarya, Samsun, Tokat, Trabzon ve Zonguldak illerinden (Davis'in Kareleme Sistemi'nde A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, A6, A8, B3 kareleri) kayıtları vardır (TÜBİVES'ten derlenmiştir).

Kuzey Kıbrıs Türk Cumhuriyeti'nden usta fotoğrafçı ve değerli dostum Sami Tamson (stomsoncy)'a ithaf ediyorum. Umarım beğenir.

------------
Lamium purpureum - Purple Deadnettle is an annual herb (LAMIALES: LAMIACEAE). It flowers in March to May (however mine was florered in November). It is found in oaks (Quercus spp.) ve Abies forests, soiled slopes, barren areas, fields, gravelly stream banks in altitudes of 30 to 1700m a.s.l. It is an Euro-Siberian Element and it ranges in warmer parts of Eurasia. In Turkiye, it is found in Turkish Thrace and northern Anatolia and close areas in Central Anatolia:
Amasya, Ankara, Bolu, Çanakkale, Edirne, Eskişehir, İstanbul, Kırklareli, Sakarya, Samsun, Tokat, Trabzon, and Zonguldak provinces (in the squares A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, A6, A8, and B3 with respct to Davis's Grid System) (extracted from TÜBİVES).

The shot was taken by 600mm lens attached to a tripod of GITZO GT-3541LS, during my visit to hometown in Black Sea. I didnt use flash light, I preferred shadow area as BG when the plant was under sun light.
Thanks to Nazım Tanrıkulu who kindly identified the species. Dedication to my friend and good photographer Sami Tamson (stomsoncy) from T.R.N.C. I hope you will enjoy the post

An impressive capture of this species of Lamium taken with your 600 mm lens,
The technical standard is high and you used the ambient light well to show the flowers and leaves well against the natural dark BG.

beautiful composition of exploiting the light. The incoming light really emphasize the leaves and the flower into a well seen subjects. The shines that emerged from the dark background make it so impressive and exciting to see.
