|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
after some time away from TN (due to work and a recent holiday trip to Bali),I am proud to present a picture of one of the rarest birds although the birds are posted a few times before on TN,I guess this is probably the first one posted which is flying freely in the wild.
We spent 2 nights in the Bali barat national park , here they run a program to re introduce the bali starling (a bird where of beleaved there were only 6 birds remaining in the wild in 2001),
Picture is cropped and taken handheld.
Hope you like it as I enjoyed watching this bird
let's hope the reintroduction of this beatifull bird will succeed.

Deze ken ik inderdaad alleen van vogelparken en heb er ook een op TN staan. Wat leuk weer eens een foto van je te zien. En hij is mooi ook. Goede scherpe focus op de kop in mooi natuurlijk licht en kleuren. Prima compositie.
If this is one of the images with my name on it, I also would have been very proud, because it is indeed a beauty and as you state in your notes a rare one as well. The blue around the eye is just so beautiful, the white crest very stylish and the pose of the bird very elegant. Thanks for sharing such a rare species, which I think I have only seen once before. It is also good to see you around on the site again. Best regards.
