The old willow tree by the lake was decorated with hubs, in which case you can say pleasing to the eye, smooth, in pastel-colored and sprinkled with snow. It appears that the severe winter that fungi favor.
Wladyslaw informed me that this is igniarius Phellinus (L.) Quel. Thanks to my friend.

Hi Lucja,
A beautiful composition of the fungi and the stem, wonderful colours and very good sharpness. Best wishes for a fruitful new year, Pambos

Witaj Lucja,

It's neither Polyporus nor Fomes. You photographed the very common Phellinus igniarius (L.) Quél., which is mostly growing on willow (where you detected), alder, acer and so. Not a bad shot, you show the fruitbodies and the bark of tree well, great textures, sharpness - but probably the composition should be effective if the subjects are bigger on the photo and not so centered. Having 2 fruitbodies, you have many possibilities to choose better and less centered compo. Except for this, your photo's quite nice.

I wish you & your loved ones the best for the new year, friendly regards, Wladyslaw
