[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Wish you all a very Happy New Year. I look forward to improve my understanding of nature further during this year.

I have taken this shot during early morning in November. This sky was filled with mild orange light of sun and this Gull was happily exploring the sky and water in search of food.

During the course of Siberian winter, the gulls travel thousands of miles to India in October and return home in March. You can have a breathtaking view of hundreds of Black Headed Gull hovering over Sangam, the confluence of the Ganges and Yamuna rivers, in Allahabad, India. During the months of January and February, Sangam witnesses a month-long holy fair Magh-Mela where millions of pilgrims arrive to take a holy dip. Sangam, thereby, not only remains a confluence of the two holy rivers, but also of our foreign travellers (Gulls).

Gulls are small to large seabirds some of which also live at inland water bodies. Most of the gulls are grey, black and white, marked with shades of brown. Their strong wings help them fly long distances.
The Black-headed Gull (Chroicocephalus ridibundus) is a small gull which breeds in much of Europe and Asia, and also in coastal eastern Canada. Most of the population is migratory, wintering further south, but some birds in the milder westernmost areas of Europe are resident.
