Shot him coming out from the thick jungle with most appropriate luminosity for the photography then. Trust you like it.

hello Subhash

beautiful close-up photo of the King of wild animals,
with excellent focus sharpness and details,
and a beautiful play of shadows and lights,

Hello Subhash!!! Nice shot contrasting the shadows and the sunlight on the lion body!!! Erodotos

Hi Subhash (my winged friend)

Thanks for this wonderful dedication. You know how I love lions and this specimen of the
Asiatic Lion (Panthera leo persica) is extra special. This subspecies is extremely rare
and in 2010 it was reported that there were only 411 of these animals left in the world.
How awful if one consider the fact that these lions once ranged from the Mediterranean
to the north-eastern parts of the Indian subcontinent. It must have been a great thrill to
find and to capture this beautiful animal in the wild.

You did well to manage the contrasts between the areas in the light and the areas in
the shade although a tad of added brightness could have been beneficial. The cropping
at the bottom is a little bit tight, but it's no big deal as it's not a major nit though. I did
a quick workshop. Hope you don't mind.

Well done MF and TFS.
Take care and have a great weekend.
