Several posts ago, I added my first shot on TN. Today I will upload another fungus image from same place. Dear friend and colleaque László Kaposvari (Hormon_Manyer) kindly identified it as Stereum cf. hirsutum - Hairy Tree Mushroom (RUSSULALES: STEREACEAE). I found these fungi on dried hazel branch. They were small and each of them around or less than 1cm. The species is a plant pathogen and it kills trees.
My special thanks to my friend László Kaposvari. I hope you will like the post. Thanks for visiting.

Hi Ahmet,
Seems we are neighbors on TN today. Very interesting fungi that I've never seen before. It looks like it has small bristles of hair on it and I would like to see it from the other side. I've truly learn't so much about fungi since joining TN. Well done and thanks for sharing.
Regards
Natley

ahmet hocam bu hurma meyvesi dalımıdır,yoksa mantar mı.
paylaşım için teşekkürler.

Interesting capture friend Ahmet. At first I tough that this is some kind of caterpillar then I realized reading your notes that this is a fungi identified by Laszlo as Stereum cf. hirsutum! Lovely point of view, warm colors and detail! Bravo Ahmet!

Merhaba Ahmet hocam,
Yes, I like the post MF! Great colors, lovely crop, nice sharpness, good composition, awesome background blur... who shouldn't like it? :) Excellent photo. But what happened to your lens? Is it broken? Closed to the right bottom corner I see something strange, like a starting crevasse on ice. I hope the lens is still in good condition.
Friendly regards, László

Merhaba Ahmet

Hello Ahmet,
I must admit when I first viewed your thumnail image I thought it was a cacoon of some type. I have never seen this type of fungi here in Ohio, but that doesn't mean that it doesn't exist here.
You did a fine job of capturing it's image with sharp focus and beautiful natural coloration. I like the blurred BG and nice exposure. Great work!!
Ron
