The object

A mushroom on death wood, on a wood in decomposition. This is a saprophytic mushroom on a burned palm tree trunk.

Quite not easy to give him his name. If anybody knows it, he be very welcome.

the photo

Picture taken in the morning. Correct sunshine, no wind. The camera was on aperture priority, with f/4.9, due to the sunshine. With that aperture and a focal length of 23 mm, the speed calculated was 1/100.

Hi,
Very good image of this interesting species of fungi. tfs.

Bonjour Philippe again,

No, not now... I mean I don't know the name of this species either. Probably the genera's Lentinus, Panus or something closed.

Exposure seems right, colors and contrast are excellent, but I'm not fully satisfied with the composition, due to the halfly cropped specimens on right and on the top. Perhaps a little different POV might solve this problem. I give 2 points because this is the only thing I don't like on the photo.

Friendly yours, László
