Hello dear friends and visitors!
This is a very large beetle very common in my region.
I´m very afraid of it because its bite is very painful.
I took this pic here because I´m a very brave woman!
kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
Thanks for visite my gallery!
All my love to everybody!,
Sincerely,
aNa

"Horse of the Devil" is the common name for insects of the Hymenoptera family pompilídeos, huntsmen spiders (syn.: Maribondo-hunter-hunting wasp), a beetle robust and generally dark in color, with occurrence varied in northeastern Brazil.

Hi Ana,

Yes Ana quite a large Beetle and indeed you should be a little afraid, you don't mention your choice of lens used?,
To give us an idea of how close you where to the subject, (my choice of lens would have been a 500mm or longer) Hmmm :-),

Fabulous sharpness and awesome natural colours, great composition and very well done,
Congratulations Ana and TFS,
Best Regards,

Pauly.

Hi Ana,
That is a pretty scarey beetle. In Canada we have something similiar to this beetle but here they are called Bees :-) Good joke, I was killing myself looking for the beetle. Amazing pink color of this flower with wonderful green contrasing leaves. Well done as always.
Denis.

Saludos Ana: Josep Ignasi.

Ola Ana,
A very very fine capture of a species of Carpenter Bee taken from a nice POV with good sharpness, colours and contrast against the pink flower in a pleasing composition.
Thanks and kind regards,
Ivan

Hello Ana,

An impressive insect indeed, here seen busy collecting nectar!
A fine close-up with good details, and it looks like a large guy...
Exposure is well done, difficult situation with the black insect on the bright flower!

Greetings,
Pablo -

Hello Ana
Beautiful photo with excellent composition and good sharpness. The lighting and the colours are fantastic.

Christodoulos

Helo aNa,
Two things struck me here first - the beautiful soft colours of the flower and the composition, which includes the bug. Then comes the rest and what also really impresses me is that you got enough DOF to render the whole flower in focus...even from the insect in the front to the leaves in the background. Congratulations on a fabulous image.

Una foto con una luz y colores muy suaves que contrastan con el color negro del abejorro, está muy bien equilibrada. Enhorabuena.
